21(1980)years ago, when moving in my house, I went out shopping for a TV. With no real experience in what was a good buy, and not a load of money, I went in a TV shop.

The man serving was late 50`s, I asked him,`what is the most reliable TV you have, I don`t want one that will break down next year?`
He told me, in all the years he had worked in the shop, he couldn`t remember one complaint about Hitachi....he wasn`t trying to sell me one as there were loads of TV`s a lot more expensive in the shop.....so I looked about, & decided to take his word for it, it wasn`t too expensive, & I chose the cheapest Hitachi in the shop.

My point !!!

I still have that same TV...ok, it`s up in the bedroom these days, and looks slightly dated....but, not once since the day I got it, have I ever had a single problem of any sort, and the picture today is as clear & sharp, as the day I first switched it on.
Not bad ay! I have had my moneys worth 10 times over & would reccommend them to anyone.

I have a friend with a Hitachi music system, bought a year after my TV...same story...up in a spare room, looking dated, but never a days problem!

I recently bought a new TV...but never got a Hitachi, I did want one, but my budget didn`t allow me too, not in the type of TV I was looking for....
I will live to regret it I`m sure.

If dooyoo is still here in 10 years, I`ll let you know if it`s still working.
