My Dad recently decided that we needed a new TV for our living room. We did have a 37 inch Sony which was great & did us well for a couple of years but as we had had our living room decorated he decided to change the TV as well. I looked extensively on the internet & in the shops with him & while in Currys we saw this Samsung 40 inch, HD ready. At the time of being in the store the TV was on sale for £899 but the store assistant told us to shop around on the internet & we could get it for at least £100 cheaper & guess what... we did! We eventually found it on many websites for £799 & it was on Comet website for this price. ... Read the complete review

A few months back, I needed to replace my television for my bedroom, as my original one took the knock. I required a decent size one, nothing too big and nothing fancy like wide-screen, just a nice TV to watch, so I took a look in my girlfriends catalogue. I came across a “Samsung CZ20F2N, 20 inch Nicam Stereo”, which looked nice and neat, and at £199 I thought yeah that looks ok, so I ordered it, yes I know, it is only about £160 in the shops, unfortunately I didn’t have the cash, so I had no choice. A week later my Television arrived, so I unwrapped it and set it up, and WOW I thought, this is really a very decent television, Great ... Read the complete review

I write my opinions of Samsung Tv's based upon my model the Samsung Pebble SM932MW 19" HD Ready Widescreen TV/Monitor. After my initial purchase, I was extremley impressed to find a selection of cables included in the box of the product such as a scart lead, PC audio out to 3.5mm input, VGA cable to connect the tv to a computer and a lint free cleaning cloth and pouch. The tv/monitor supports HDMI input through two external HDMI slots, a single scart input as well as a VGA input for computers to be connected to it. The television has great HD capabilities shown in all its glory when connected to my PS3. The TV has good style and looks modern, ... Read the complete review

Lets just say i am a little bit on the fussy side when it comes to TV. I literally want the best i can afford. I am pleased to say that my latest purchase was a Samsung series 7 with full 1080P HD and it fulfilled all my TV desires. It is actually my first Samsung and the reason i decided tot buy one was because my dad had one and i was so impressed i went and got one for myself a few weeks later. Samsung recently have really come into a world of there own, there TVs are top notch quality and there prices seem to be plummeting and i feel you get a lot of TV for your money no matter what model you buy. I really like the new designs, they are so fresh ... Read the complete review

I bought a brand new Samsung TV from my local Scottish Power store. The picture and sound quality were perfect during the period covered by the warranty, but, shortly after this time things started to go wrong. The picture started to flick on and off, the sound started to whistle, and finally the whole set went pop. The repair man had the telly for 3 months and brought it back, stating that the output transistor had blown. 10 mins later it went off again.(yes I got a refund from the repair man) The telly went to another repair man who says that this is a common problem with ALL samsung televisions and the repair would not be cheap, and the parts would ...
