Advantages: Good clear picture

Disadvantages: Attracts dust.

When our previous wide screen TV went bang we decided to get a LCD one. My husband did a lot of research and decided that a Samsung 37in screen with Freeveiw built in and good screen resolution would be our best buy.

It was a little more expensive than others of the same size (I can't remember exactly how much) but when I have seen friends TV's of the same size you can definetly see the difference in the picture quality - ours is so much better and sharper.

We have it fixed to the wall and it looks very stylish, although the black surround does attract the dust as it gets a lot of static.

The screen gives off a lot of heat, so probably not good in a small room as it would work like an extra radiator!

It has plenty of connectors on the back including HD as it is HD ready. We are happy with the HD quality as well as we have watched Blueray movies via our PS3.

Summary: We would purchase Samsung again.
