Advantages: Brilliant picture

Disadvantages: Lack of HDMI

I write my opinions based upon a 720p 26" High Definition set that I bought nearly three years ago now, and I have to say that I am very very pleased with it.

The set as a whole looks lovely, the screen has a thick black surround with a mid sized grey speaker panel underneath this which also contains the power button. It may not sound much but it just looks the part in our room.

The unit comes with a remote control of average size that is designed to control all the television's built in functions. Ther's not much else to say on it really, but it is worth pointing out that it's straight forward enough that I never read the manual but can make good use of it!

The TV picture quality is superb, especially given the age it is now, I run all of the latest consoles through it with no problems, it could really use another HDMI port or two, but that's because of the age, HDMI was still rather in it's infancy at the time this was released. It also has VGA, component, Scart and various other connections I don't even understand on the back, all of which delivery high quality video and sound through the screen.

I'm currently in the market for a larger TV at some point, I haven't really done my homework yet but I know I'll be sticking with Samsung as a brand. Top marks.

Summary: A great looking set, worth a follow up purchase.
