Advantages: Good picture, simple operation

Disadvantages: Slightly tinny sound, random ratio selection

It's fine. And that's about it, really - it does exactly what it's supposed to, the picture and sound are good but not remarkable. The colours are even and the picture doesn't seem to distort. The sound is fine, but slightly tinny in the same way as the speakers in virtually every other cheap set.

It's a really nice-looking set - silver and nicely curved, unlike all the other low-end sets I've seen.

The remote control it easy to use, and the on-screen menus are very straightforward. It seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to selecting the picture ratio - sometime you go on to a channel and it changes the ratio, sometime it doesn't. And I haven't found a way to force it not to switch to the DVD when I turn the player on.

Neither of these is a serious problem, though - if I didn't quite want to stump up for a Tosh, which have better tubes but are black and square, I'd buy it again.
