samsung ci-5944n, well i dont know if its just me that has had this problem, but according to the engineer its a fairly common fault with samsung tvs, and guess what it happened one month outside the warranty period, to top that it also happened one week before christmas last year.
What am i talking about, overheating microchips, at first the picture just shrank on screen and then after about half an hour it went off, we found for a few days if it was turned off it was ok for a bit, than it totally went.
After an engineer looked at it, he ordered a new chip and a kit to stop it overheating whatever that meant, it cost £115 to have it repaired and im not impressed, i wrote to samsung and if they get back to me ill update this opinion.
