Disadvantages: not such an esteemed name as the big guys

I recently purchased a 28" widescreen, model 28W8DB. Essentially, what you get with this is a tasty looking widescreen with surround sound (an extra set of satellite speakers!). Being a person that takes an age to buy anything over a tenner, I did the requisite research into TV's of this nature by checking reviews from the internet and several magazines!?
Although perhaps not as well thought of as Sony, and - dare I say it - Bang & Olufsen, the Toshiba range definitely give you more bang for your buck (e.g. bigger screen, better sound)!
Regarding reliability, I have no great concerns over this, as I connected my 13 year old Tosh VCR (still going strong)to my TV, and have also heard that friends/colleagues have no problems with their models.
Generally, a great make of TV manufacturer at a price that right! Sounds like a slogan to me...
