After the radiation warning the market was flooded with the hands free devices.
As in our country it was the rule to have them in the car the problem remained at home.
As my son's job involved a lot of travelling our main communication was over the cell phone. Apart from the possible danger I also wished to have "hands free" possibility to get on with what I was doing.
I have bought several of these devices and their life span varied from 4 weeks to just a couple of days. I have had them from official phone distributors, gadget vendors and accessory shops.On the Nokia 51-- and 61-- series, the weak point is the connection to the phone itself.Where this was successful the microphones or the ear pieces developed problems. Where the other components did not fail, the very thin wires went at the connection points.
In other words my hands are still full as I have not found a single one that works.
Will I try again? Probably, I am an incurable optimist.

Summary:
