... picture and the sound is near perfect. Although the picture settings can be annoying, you do find the right one in the end. We paid £500 for our one (I think the RRP is £650) to be quite honest, Im not sure what you are paying for when you go upto the £1000 mark. Reasons for buying: 1: 28inch flatscreen £700 with a 5yr insurance 2:T-V Link Faction (read exp after this) 3:Digital surround sound which can also generate surround sound without having the additional speakers you would put a the back(again ideal for the smallish rooms but great for biguns (yet you would have the tendency to go for the JVC AV-32WFR1EK same model just bigger screen)Easy to connect an amp for full surround sound. 4:Even headphone surround sound, which I didn't actually believe but it does work as well as deafens you so watch that you don't have the volume too loud. 5:Fastext with 8 page... JVC AV 29SX4 ... you want surround sound and a big screen, but aren’t yet ready to make the move to widescreen, then the AV-29SX4 ought to be on your shortlist. It’s a budget set that comes with a Dolby Pro-Logic decoder and a full set of speakers including a pair of external surround models for you to hook up. If you can't find space for the rear speakers it also includes JVC’s 3D-Phonic ‘surround from just the speakers in the set’ system.
