Matsui Televisions in generalNewest Review: ... a dressing table. The matsui it has replaced is still in full working order although it is now 15 yrs old and this helped in my decision to purchase another matsui tv. The new tv is very resonably priced at £129 although the freeview does not work as my signal is too poor, this is not a concern to me as I have my sky box connected to my bedroom tv anyway, this is a problem for my area and not the tv. My sons freeview didn't work until i bought a booster ariel. The matsui tv was very quick to install, within 10 mins the auto set-uo had tuned all 5 terrestrial channels plus my sky channel very easily. This auto function would also have continu... more |

I recently bought a Matsui 1410T Fastext TV for my bedroom. It cost me £89.99 from Dixons, which I thought was pretty good as usually Fastext TV's are quite a bit pricier than this. Of course the salesman in Dixons was also on the hard sell when it came to the extended warranty option. (Which is extremely BAD, and I didn't take it up) I didn't think I was going to be allowed to leave the shop without taking the option up, and the guy was on at me the whole time "Ah, but it's only £20 blah, blah, blah" and he gave me a very disapproving look as I left the store with the TV sans Dixons warranty. What he neglected to ... Read the complete review

I'm afraid I must add a note of caution to the chorus of approval for Matsui televisions. By a quirk of fate (read finances) I have two Matsui TVs. A 14-inch portable and a 20-inch. Both are complete pants. The portable makes a clicking noise which has me worried that it's going to explode, and the larger one now refuses to switch to a channel lower than 7. When the signal goes through a Matsui video, the colour becomes an intensity that Stevie Wonder would appreciate. I bought my Matsui stuff because I was skint and it was the cheapest available. In future I'll be tempted to either save a little longer or go for a Proline or Sharp. ... Read the complete review

Thanks to DooYoo I have just purchased a 14in Matsui television for my kitchen, I decided to get a new television, because the television I had in the kitchen was black and white. This television only cost £74.95 from Curry's. I was very surprised at the quality of this television, it has 60 channels, a sleep function best of all it's quick and easy to set up and you can tune the channels in about 2 minutes. The best feature on this television is that is has a secret pin number, you set in a 4-digit pin number, so if any one steals it, it won't work unless they know the pin number. This is a fantastic television for a kitchen or ... Read the complete review
