We bought the above microwave because our old one had gone well passed its expiry date and Savacentre had the Samsung on special offer for £60.00. Very cheap!. However, it was only 6 months old when I notice that the 'floor' of the microwave (the area under the microwave round plate) was peeling. Is this dangerous? Also, when I was pregnant, if I stood in front of the microwave whilst it was on, my fingers and toes would go numb and my speech became a little slurred. This happened on numerous occasions, however, my midwife advised me it was because certain muscles and nerve endings would become fluid pact and this could have caused it. I am not convinced because it ALWAYS happened after I had been near the microwave. Now, I have the backdoor open and let no one stand infront of it when it is on.
