I bought this little product off of merconnet.com a little while back and I can say it's a great little gadget. It's compatible with almost everything, except divx's. Which I'm sure in good time, dvd players will be. It's a region free and tiny player and also happens to be really quick. I'm honestly very happy with it. what I love is that Ic an order dvd's off ebay and not worry what region they are or if they'll load up or not. They all just load in. First model paused for fraction of a second two or three times a dvd, not the end of world but irritating enough to send the unit back to Merconnet. Replacment was an absolute pile of junk. Sent it back to Merconnet in the UK, but unit was returned because they had moved address without paying for a postal redirect service. Merconnet then igored my emails to the UK and Canada. I then started to call but every time they failed to follow up (beware of the UK 0871 number its more expensive than ringing Canada direct) It took four months to sort out. I bought one of these DVD players from merconnet and I can tell: it is very useful and very portable. I play movies and entertaining programs in my car while taking my kids for short and long trips and believe It!, helps a lot to keep the calm around, "if you know what I mean". Also I take it to almost everywhere since it is so small and I can play as well any CD format on it like mp3 and regular DC music.
