I have a Nikon F70 from some year, practically from when it was put in commerce. I will not spend my time (and your) describing the Nikon quality: body and lens are optimal. The thing that I have found most interesting is the programs: if as an example the program "People" is selected the camera chooses automatically the best combination speed/aperture in order to obtain a perfect photo of the subject, and wanting, there is a range of other combinations speed/aperture which can be selected also. For who uses the camera for fun, in travel or company, is the best. The Flexible programs are several, go from the "People" classic to the amusing "Effect Movement". They are possible photos in sequence and is incorporated the pre-flash in order to avoid the red eyes. For me the N70 is a versatile machine, up to the professional limit, which enriched from the accessories like flash and lens can to give a lot of satisfactions to the photo-lovers.

If you are thinking of buying a Nikon F70 i would say that you are already half way to deciding on getting a great camera. The F70 is one of the finest camera around As long as you use it with the Nikon range of lenses You should have no problems. it has eight programs for differing photographic subjects. Small tip - to activate the programs you must be on F22. When you buy the Nikon F70 you will be given the choice of two lenses. Either a 28-80mm or 35-80mm. I would suggest the 28-80mm as this gives you the chance to get wider shots. The funtion LCD is very user friendly, very easy to use. The thing that I like about the F70 is that you can have three different setting on the LCD. This can enable you to set one up for high speed multiple shots or have another for single frame. Autofocus and autoexposure have not let me down so far. I have had a lot of very good results from this camera and would recomend it to anyone.
