I recent took a trip to honk kong and managed to pick this portable DVD for £300 which is a bargin compared to the £800 you would pay here. So why did i buy it? While we can't all go on trips to Hong Kong and pick this up for £300, we can save the money on the trip and buy it for £750!!! Not quite the same, but hey...!! Let's get one thing straight here. If you want a home system, this is not for you. Yes, it plugs into the TV, yes, it has great sound, but for the price it just isn't worth it! You can spend half of that £750 on a "proper" home system and get much better quality output. But, posing is what we are about here, right?! I recently saw the Panasonic DVD-L50 Portable DVD player, as my friend has one. It is excellent. Whenever he is travelling somewhere, he does not get bored as he just watches a DVD, and whenever he is at home, he can hook it up to a television and watch it on the big screen. It also plays CD’s and VCD’s which makes it even better. It also comes with a small remote control. The player looks very cool, and is one of the best available.
