      Very helpful

There is something about this walkman that I like, it just feels right. The buttons are well located and it is easy to use, 2 good AA batteries will last about 16 hours. The supplied headphones were very comfortable but it was only about 6 months before they packed up and the sound only came out of one ear. The Bass Boost is very good on this walkman. There is also a Normal/Chrome tape selector. One nuisance is that it does not have auto stop on rewind or fast forward and a few times I have left it rewinding by mistake and have found next day the batteries are flat as the buttons don't click off by themselves. The radio is an analogue FM/AM rotary dial tuner. This sounds better than my Sony walkman, however has developed a fault after about a year and it is the same fault I have experienced with other Panasonic systems more than once. The speaker channels pack up, by this I mean the headphones only work out of one ear and this is a fault of the walkman and not the headphones. It must be a loose connection somewhere. I had a Panasonic Record Player and the same thing happened, only the one speaker worked in the end. Priced about £15, if you want a good walkman then this is ideal, but if you want a good walkman which will last a long time, this is probably not the best choice.
