... admirably. I compared it to a similar model by Sony, and although both were very attractive televisions, I was drawn to this one every time. To my eyes at least, the Sony was very hard to look at. All the colours were very harsh. I know that many people prefer it that way, but I like a softer image - one that I can look at for more than 30 mins without getting a headache. If an electrical product has the word 'Panasonic' somewhere on it's body, you can guarantee that it's going to be good. Okay, so they're not always mind blowing, but with a company like this you cannot go far wrong. I feel that 36" is the optimum size for a widescreen TV. You can get 40" Rear Projection sets from companies like Toshiba for not much more, but the picture qualiy of any RP set pales in comparison to a CRT of the same price. If you really must have that bigger screen, get an LCD projector for about the same money, but even then you have to put up with blacks that look brown, and washed out skin tones.
