The best compact camera I've ever owned

As a student I cannot afford an expensive digital SLR with a variety of lenses, so instead I opted for the old school option of a film compact from ebay. This camera has an incredible zoom and you can often find surprised faces as the lens extends out and keeps going for a good 10cm. This telephoto lens produces great quality close ups. A great feature of this camera is that the viewfinder also zooms, giving an idea of how the end result may be. The viewfinder is also a downside to the camera, however, as it is too small and quite dark compared to what would be expected.

Another feature of the camera is the ability to add date prints to photos, which it does by printing a subtle orange coloured stamp at the bottom right of negatives. The camera allows you to either print the date or time and also the format of the date setting

The flash is also good on the camera, and the automatic facility is very good at judging when the lighting requires flash.

Overall the camera is a great substitute to an SLR for those on a budget, or simly people who prefer compact cameras. Would reccomend!
