Very good robust phone
Sony Ericsson K750i

Sony Ericsson K750i
Advantages: Cheap, robust, good battery, nice operating system, expandable memory
Disadvantages: Joystick can stick if debris gets in there, less than average speakers for music
I had the phone for a period of around 2 year and I was not the most careful of owners, it often got dropped, sometimes into water or sand and it managed to survive somehow. The only time I ever had real issues was when it got dropped in sand as some grains got stuck behind the joystick, making going up and down very difficult for a few months untill the sand worked loose.
I paid around £90 for this phone as I got it when it was still relatively new. For a phone at the time it was very well equipped with a 2MP camera. It took good photos, or at least as good as they can get from a 2MP camera anyway. It didn't cause too much blurring if your hand was shaky like my newest phone and the flash was very useful.
Calling and texting is obviously what most people buy a phone for and it did both just fine. The in call features were quite good, with the ability to record calls if you needed, and the loudspeaker was of good quality.
The speakers were okay for a phone when playing music, although when compared to my friends Walkman equivalent, they seemed very shoddy, but then this was not a phone built for music.
The menu system was good and I have always liked the Sony menus on phones. It was well equipped with features and has bluetooth, a permanent flash you can use as a torch, good calendar functions etc.
Although the internal memory wasn't tiny, I utilised the expandable memory on the side of the phone for playing music etc.
The overall build quality as I mentioned before was very good, it didn't ever break from many drops, just developed the odd scuff or scratch. The phone itself continued without any malfunctions.
The battery life was quite good, nothing particularly special, but would last for a long enough period of time, perhaps 4/5 days of light usage.
Overall it was an excellent phone and I only upgraded due to my contract running out, got a newer Sony that was much worse and liable to breakages. Wish I'd stayed with this one now.
Summary: Excllent phone for the money, well equipped and very reliable. Would thoroughly recommend
