Disadvantages: soft where is poor

Everybodies having a dig at the software so I'll discuss that first ! - My computers 98 so I'm lucky in a way but I had no problems its not a manufacturers installation ! (the box does say thats what you'll need) bunged in the CD 'wis' Installed no problem,
I've got the Rioport software installed as well and alot of other sound software no conflicts yet( SB live full, PCDJ pro, external controlled synth, midi keyboard, CD burner (which normally conflicts with text files LOL)).
So on I went, On-line registration - But I don't have the internet ?@~:{} no matter I took the web address round to my mates and wala registered no problem again, sony doing well. This is only really to get information on new music and web sites, you don't need it to use the player still fully functioning with everything in bundle, I tryed it !

Now the bad, -inserted CD Ibiza annual (this summers) - second disc causes a code 4 error ! (no reference in any manual or any on-line stuff (which I must say is all rubish(really rubish))

So - bunged it through a few thousand more times !! no luck as yet ! - If anyone got any ideas tell me in comments - its a new CD (not nackard) I've tryed both CD drives the burner and 40x neither worked both were "optimized" by the software fully. Any how I chucked it into Rioport software - result copied fully first time into MP3's - played it back unlucky still has sound glitches everywere through tracks 13-16 but these play fine in CD player ! - on computer or Hi-FI -
Maybe Sony's program was just saying that it wouldn't be able to copy 'nackard' tracks. Tryed another disc copyied perfect !- 3rd disc copied perfect (old discs both of them) 4 th disc (new) code 4 error ------- please tell me nobody has managed to create uncopiable CD's...!

The player then -

It's far better than my Rio player (which wasent the really old one
, it was a rio500) the tracks don't clip together so you can play mixed music or continues tunes without that 'blip' (that sounds like a skip. However the bundled software does 'Blip' between tracks which is so annoying. The buttons are great I'm a rock climber and trust me it loves heights, the rio used to have a case that I'd clip to my upper sleave this doesn't so when I went I fixed it to my arm. Any how long story cut short it fell out , plumets 300 ft to floor, NO just hung by the studs in my ears for 5 minutes till I reached the next free hands point (love'd it) saved its own life, the battery life is smart compared to the Rio, I ride a set route every Sunday on my bike so the battery in the rio normally runs out at the same point (assuming I remember to put a new one in) The sony out lasted this point by 2,1/2 miles and whats more impressive is that the batteries are AA and not AAA as in the Rio, ie its alot smaller + I'm running re-chargi batteries which just don't last aslong as 'normal' ones.

A sound player - I must admit the first thing I did was to complain to sony that the software was coded bady. by this I mean the userfriendliness is brilliant but the code is nack, you can make it crash if you go like the clappers through its menu system, but actually doing things is good you know what you want to do and it lets you do it simply unlike the rio-software which you end up doing some stupid things to just get it to play tracks in the correct order.

If you like outdoor sport without much carrying cappacity - you'll love this product! - the ear phones are cool too, they are really short - you don't need all that cable when you can sit the player in behind your ear LOL but it comes with an ear phone extender cable Suuuuuperb

like it loved it, riden with it, climbed with, wouldn't get rid of it JUST FIX THE CODE SONY - WIP THOSE PROGRAMERS, or more probably fin
d a new contractor to write your program there letting the side down !!!
