This review will not focus on which console is better value for money or has better games, but will simply compare Microsoft's eagerly awaited Xbox with Sony's... well, eagerly awaited also PS2, as DVD players. I won't compare them to more traditional, actual DVD players as this is obviously the game console's secondary function, I just hope this helps if you're contemplating buying any of them for use of both functions, like my family.
