Disadvantages: Quickly outdated when it comes to gaming

From my own personal experience and that of my families and friends I would highly recommend Toshiba satellite laptops for multi media and work purposes (not gaming).

My laptop (Toshiba satellite m40x) has taking one hell of a battering being dropped down stone stair cases on several occasions and constantly picked up by the screen yet only now after three years has the unit developed minor faults as a result, mostly a loose hinge, green line down screen and a problem with the ram expansion slot. The only exception to this durability being the one time where my bios crashed completely. This only happened once and it was a refurbished laptop (plus I partitioned the hard drive),

When my bios crashed Toshiba customer care was Extremely helpful, the best I have received from any company. They fixed the laptop completely free of charge and paid for postage both ways.

Perhaps I should point out that in my experience and that of my dad's experience is that they don't last very long if you keep plugging your laptop into the mains all the time. If you periodically let you battery go completely flat before recharging this willincrease the life of your battery.

Summary: Very sturdy laptops with great customer care

I was unaware there was a toshiba in general category, in which case i'm perfectly happy with it being moved there.

I have to agree with nar2, you should only be writing about the specific product under which you post the review. In this case the review that you have written is not about this model but a different one.

What you should have done is write your review about the model you *do* have. Alternatively you could have posted the review in the category, "Toshiba in General". In this case I think that that is the best thing to do and I will ask Dooyoo to move your review there.

Even if I don't get paid for that review I think it highly stupid to delete it and will argue my case for leaving it there.
I made it perfectly clear in the title what it was about so not misleading anyone who wishes to read it.
Like I say this is not something I plan to post again, it was a one off. But I shall not be altering it, the information is both honest and relevant to the product. If you disagree please let me know who I need to convince otherwise.
