General Toshiba TV Opinions:
... have the bitter experience of suffering at the hands of Toshiba whom I previously regarded as a purveyor of quality electrical goods? I purchased a 28 inch pro-logic widescreen TV from Comet three years ago at a cost of £600 or thereabouts. I was very pleased with the set as it had a host of features for the money that the rest just didn't have. Comet offered me their insurance for £270??? I declined. Aft... General Toshiba TV Opinions ... month ago I went to curries and bought a new tv. A toshiba 28w23b wide screen with a package of vcr/dvd. I thought my luck was in at the special rate they were selling it, but had I known then what I know now I would have said NO THANKYOU!!! I bought Toshiba because it's supposed to be a good make, well you woulod think it was. It broke, just stopped working one day! Toshiba SD 210 ... is generally a very good player. The picture quality is very good and the sound is excellent. The range of connection options for sound is very good 2 channel tv / sound thru Hi-fi / Dts /optical you name its got it!. I bought it mainly to play my mp3's and for this it is very very good. It even plays my CDs better than my old CD player. Looks good reasonably easy to set up and use and not too expensive what more can you ask?? region free you say! go ahead sir just ask the man in the shop. It copes with DVD s, CD-r and CD-RW equally well, it even plays unfinalized CDrs so you can add more music later!! ... Read the full review: Generally very good by KHARNAK |

Toshiba SD 210 ... picked this great little player up from richer sounds for £170 including the multi region chip. It was to replace an aging samsung dvd player and as soon as i saw this player i knew it was the one i wanted. Straight away its clean lines and uncomplicated fascia appeal. Its the nice grey/silver that is the "trend" at the moment for electronics and will look great under anyones TV set. Connection options are good, RGB enabled scart for the best possible connection to a conventinal TV, and compotent video connecters for a projecter/plasma screen. The picture when conected with the RGB scart lead is superb. Flesh tones and vivid colours a reproduced perfectly... Read the full review: SeXxXy little budget player by allanjk |
