I'm envious (Virgin Mobile in general)

Advantages: cheap calls, good service, good network, more competition in the mobile industry

As you may have figured from previous opinions, my phone is on the Orange network. However I know all about Virgin because my son has his phone on the Virgin network and having looked into it I would change networks myself but for the expensive unlocking fee with Orange.

The Virgin call policy is very simple. The first 5 minutes of calls you make a day will be charged at 15p a minute and all calls after that at 5p a minute. This particularly useful if you use your phone a lot in the daytime at peak times, where on other networks you would be paying 30p a minute. In theory with Virgin you can be making peak time calls at just 5p a minute which is the same price as off peak calls with the other networks!!

The Virgin network has guaranteed service quality as it is based on the One 2 One network, hence there need not be any worries from people thinking whether the Virgin network will have good reception. Let me tell you now i've noticed no difference from my son's reception on Virgin as to mine on Orange.

Overall Virgin are definitely the best option to go for if you use your phone a lot in peak times, however it may not be the best option if you use your phone only in off peak bands.
