Advantages: very cheap tariff

Disadvantages: Offer finishes 18th March

I have just purchased this mobile phone from virgin. It is an Alcatel Max DB.
I had been looking around for a pay as you go phone at a reasonable price with a good tariff, I don't think I could have found a better offer than this.
The phone cost £39.99 including a £5 voucher, I also got another £20 worth of calls free, Which works out I only paid £15 for the phone.
This offer is only in Virgin record stores, I'm not sure how long this offer is going on for.
The tariff for this pay as you go phone is excellent, 15p for the first five minutes then 5p a minute. Text messages cost 10p per message.
There's also a great option on this phone called virgin extra's, with this you can get allsorts of messages sent to your phone for free, whether you want the latest football results, news on your favourite artist, travel news, lottery numbers or even your daily horoscope, just log on to virgin extra's on the internet and choose what messages you'd like, you can even choose what time of day you'd like them sent to you, all for free!!!
You also get a hands free headset and belt clip with this phone included in the price!!! (normally £14.99)
Also included is a desk top charger.(sold separately for £11.99)
There are lots of extras you can buy if you wish, A leather case to protect your phone from wear and tear, it fits your phone with easy access to all the keys. includes a belt clip, for £9.99.

In-car charger which plugs directly into your cars cigarette lighter socket and conveniently charge your mobile whilst your on the move!! for £9.99.
Mobile pocket sized retractable headset, not much bigger or thicker than a credit card, this headset fits snugly into your pocket or onto your belt with a clip.Features a boomerang earpiece that always returns into place. price £14.99.
Mobile portable car kit, keep your hands on the road with this basic pack that enables hands-free conversation in your car. Comes c
omplete with in-car charger, built-in speaker, microphone and a magnetic holder for your mobile to sit in. price £24.99.
The leather case and in car charger is also available together for £14.99.
This is a nice neat looking phone, very easy to use with easy to follow instructions, no registration is required, just put the sim card in, charge up the phone and it's ready to use.

"UPDATE"
I have just found out that this offer finishes on 18th March, but it still only costs £39.99 with £5 of free calls, and the calls are cheaper than any other network I've come across.
Sorry to anyone who's read this opinion too late!!!
