      Very helpful

Time travelling can be bad for your health....??

      Director: Robert Zemeckis
Producers: Bob Gale and Neil Canton.
Writers: Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale
Stars: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue and Thomas F. Wilson.

Released in late 1989 this sequel to what was a great movie had to be just as good so as not to ruin the 'Back to the future' trilogy...

      **BRIEF PLOT**

Time travelling from 1985, (so as to follow on perfectly with the first movie) Marty McFly, (played by Michael J. Fox) and Doctor Emmett Brown, (played by Christopher Lloyd) end up in 2015, accidentally taking Marty's girlfriend, Jennifer Parker, (played by Elisabeth Shue), with them..

The Doc, having previously travelled to 2015 in the DeLorean, which is know powered by household waste, returns to 1985 to bring Marty back to 2015 because of some terrible situation Marty and Jennifers children were getting into... (sounds a little complicated but it soon becomes clear...)

With Marty having to stop his future kids, Marty JR and Marlene, (both played by Fox himself) from ruining their lives he realises that he is up against Griff Tannen, (played by Thomas F. Wilson) as the grandson of his oldest nemesis, Biff.

When Marty happens upon a sports almanac which lists the entire sporting results from 1950 to the years 2000... So he plans on taking the magazine back to 1985 to help him with his financial future....to the horror of the Doc who discards the magazine.....

But this doesn't quite go to plan as when the trio return back to 1985 they soon realise that the past has been dramatically changed and for some strange reason Biff Tannan lords over the entire slums of Hill Valley.....

Marty and the doc soon realise what has happened and have to travel back in time to 1955 to stop things from becoming as they had become....

      Beat it by Michael Jackson
      I can't drive 55 by Sammy Hager
      Mr Sandman by Pat Ballard
Papa loves Mambo by Al Hofman and Dick Manning.

Michael J.Fox as Marty McFly, also his future children, Marty jr and Marlene
Christopher Lloyd as Doctor Emmett L. Brown (aka the Doc)
Thomas F.Wilson as Biff Tannen, also his future grandson Griff.
Elisabeth Shue as Jennifer Parker/ McFly
Lea Thompson as Lorraine Baines/ McFly/Tannen

A fantastically, if slightly more complicated, sequel to what was a great first movie.

Although the story line seems to be slightly confusing and sometimes almost impossible to comprehend if you don't add a little concentration, the movie really does entertain through out.

With the DeLorean time hopping from 1985 to 2015 then right back to 1955 there is a lot of information to take in, but the reasons soon become clear as you see the scenario of 'cause and effect'...

Fox and Lloyd again play their parts professionally, with much humour and great banter... especially the insane character of the Doc.....

And with a brilliantly thought out twist at the end you know you are in for another great Back to the Future movie.

      Would I recommend this...?

      Yes I certainly would.
It is a fine sequel which is as good as the first, if not better.
The humour and action make this another fine movie which is well worth watching..
