Not content with Disey throwing out every kids movie under the sun, Nickelodian decided to team upwith Paramount pictures to create the feature animation movie "Barnyard" . Based on a the interesting lives of all the animals in a farm. Sound dull? Well it is to an extent I guess but you must remember that this is a kids game based on a kids show so one must lower expectations before jumping at the chance to critisise the game.
Graphics - There are many different parts of the farm involved in the game and from the barns to the fields they all look very nice and the characters themself including the cow you control all look very well detailed and cute.
Gameplay - Simple but effective, this is your traditional platform game controls here as you control the little cow around as he does his thing, not much of a learning curve here.
Sound - The theme tunes in this are very cathcy and i'm assuming they are taken from the TV show, which is no bad thing. Sounds cool.
Overall - Well I'm not sure how much life Barnyard has as a game, it's not the most rewarding or that challenging but kids will probably really like it and it might do the trick to keep them quiet while you focus on other things.
Based on Paramount Pictures' and Nickelodeon Movies' theatrical release, this adventure game offers a humorous look at how farm animals really live when humans are not around. Players start as the new cow on the block and work their way though challenges in a fully rendered 3D world to prove they are the biggest party animal of all.
