A very addictive game. Much like the typical RPG, you are Boktai, and your aim? To kill/purify/pulverise/generally destroy the Undead. BUT this game has a difference- you need real sunlight. You start off with an intro about the End Of The World, and a talking sunflower introduces himself. He is your guide through the game. The game consists of general dungeons and caves you have to pass through in order to get to places where Immortals (the bosses) lie. The game is a good combination of puzzles and strategy. There are forests where golems will try to smash you if they hear you coming, so the only way around (apart from running away from a rolling rock coming to get you) is to creep around and distract them with a noise, to get them from behind. The creators have also been quite imaginative with the bosses and their respective destroying methods. Wolves, giant snakes and vampires await you, and to try and find their weakness is satisfying, as well as the journey through each of their domains, which can be puzzling, and all of which have specialised monsters. It is also a game of accuracy. This game is totally unique in the fact that you need real sunlight in order to power your weapon, the 'Gun Del Sol' (which has different lenses, shapes and upgrades depending on how much you use it.) This is a bonus for parents whose kids play a lot of video games- they can only play it in the day, and you're not the bad guy when they have to stop.
