Which is a great shame because the dreamcast never really had any decent rallying games - the only actual games that had rallying aspects were V Rally 2 and Sega Rally 2, neither were brilliant so there! Colin McRae would have been a great seller, but codemasters were reluctant to release it and ultimately canned it - not enough potential consumers apparently, even though the Dreamcast community was crying out for this game - Codemasters refused to listen, and Colin's best rally game of all time was the first in the trend of those "oh so many" canned games, which is really disappointing. On the PlayStation it's a great game, but it's not graphically great, and could do with being on a newer console, the PC game is fine, but not many people play racing games on their PCs compared to on a home console - for convenience purposes really. Colin McRae is an excellent game, that is one of the most realistic and playable titles never actually to be realesed on Sega's failed console. Such a shame, this would have been amazing. Hindsight is a great thing, sorry to see this one slip away.
