This game is right up at the top with Resident Evil and Silent Hill. It is a survival horror game with a difference. No zombies or flying beasties trying to make a three course meal out of your head, this time it's the turn of T-Rex and his scary, hungry cousins. Obviously lots of gratuitous blood and guts scenes are inevitable.
In the game you play Special agent girl Regina and you have to get out of the compound....alive! Easier said than done!Of course there are lots of dinosaurs running around that are a little peckish. Problem? No, not really when your pumping them full of shotgun pellets or pistol bullets!
The graphics are cool, the sound is awesome and the atmosphere grabs you round throat and squeezes your head until you are purple!
The idea is much the same as Resident Evil, but a lot harder. You have to collect different things and use them at certain places. There are also save boxes where you can store stuff till you need it.
The T-Rex scenes were scarey and when you listen and stand still, you can hear the clicking of Raptor claws on the floor.
Wait till you get picked up by a Pterodactyl! Oh yes this game has it all! To get out of the claws of these nasty characters, you have to button bash your controller to the other side of next week!
Overall, the game is excellent and is almost as good as the Resident Evil series. But it is still not all the way there. Nothing is quite as scary as a 12ft Tarantula breathing down your back. I hate spiders!
