Fire Emblem is a great game; the game has such a good game play system that makes you want to wait for the next one to come. Also the change from gba to the Nintendo GameCube was one of best things that Nintendo has done in 2006. The game play was the same as the other games... Amazing!!! The graphics were much improved. A whole lot of chapters. New evolutions, new monster, new weapons and a new system that allows you to create weapons called forge. Forge is great because you can buy weapons add to the attributes of the weapon, give it a name and change colors and abilities. This is the best upgrade from the previous games. Another good improvement is the addition of monsters on your team. For example you can have a tiger as a fighter but he will change back into a human after a while. All in all this is the second best Fire Emblem (second to the first one) and I recommend you it if you have a Nintendo Wii and a GameCube and if you don't buy one of them!!!!
Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance is, in my opinion the best game in the Fire Emblem series. It is about a mercenary team and their newest member Ike, who is the father of the captain. They are hired by a princess to help her reclaim the throne.
This game works like a board game, where you take turns to strike, it can be tedious for some players, but I like it, whenever you strike you usually get a short animation of the characters attacking each other. The levels usually last around 1 hour, 2 hours tops. Something about this game is the fact that when one of your characters loses all their hit points they are dead for the rest of the game, so strategy is essential.
The music is average at best, and it tends to get on your nerves after awhile so I turn it off usually.
This game has hardly any replayability, which I found to be disappointing, after you beat the game there are some bonus levels though, but they are virtually impossible because you can only use characters that survived the whole game, and the final level is a massacre, it only left me with a few characters.
This is a long, but seriously addictive game, I'd highly recommend this to hardcore gamers, but not newbie's because this game is not very newbie friendly.
