Manuals for Shoot 'em ups and Flight Simulators

I have found that the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Manual is very bland. It doesn't include enough information that I need. There is a very useful quick reference on the back of the manual and there's a good glossary included as well so all the terms can be understood. There are approach charts for the main airports of the world that are ok but I have found that I very rarely need to use them because I don’t fly to those airports. There is a lot of information about the aircraft but the section about the panels is a bit hard to follow.
