This website is totally cool. it has games and stuff to do for all ages. Listen to farts sneezes and read other peoples diary's. Read your horoscope, suggest new things. Play games. make a pig so fat it pops. These are just some of the many outrageous things you can do on bored.com Tell others about the site, becaus elike me, you'll want to! there is allsorts to do here like you may agree, many fo young people. But believe me, young or old you won't wanna leave!
So you are looking for some online puzzle games? Well here are a couple of sites which you may or may not have heard of... <~>Brainblitz.com<~> The actual link you will need to take you to the puzzle section is: http://www.brainblitz.com/games/puzzles/ Here you will find a superb game called Alchemy which wasted hours of my time online along with some other lesser but still very playable games such as Diamond Mine, Seven Seas, Virtual Cube, and Atomica. All have a puzzle theme behind them but by far the best if Alchemy. The games load quickly, look good, play well and are pretty damn addictive too. Its a great site and one which probably most people have yet to stumble across. Take a look. <~>PuzzleDepot.com<~> This has quite a few different games not solely puzzles though. You need the shockwave flash plug-in to play most of them though so if you haven't got it then its somewhat tough luck. Get it, or miss out. I quite like the actual jigsaw puzzles here above all else, but its not a site I visit that often because I am not a huge huge fan OF jigsaw puzzles. Games take a little while to download because they are flash based, but they are worth playing. Its another to add to your bookmarks anyway. <~>Flipside.com<~> This is a simply fantastic American site which has a great selection of extremly well created games, complete with chat rooms, superb avatars and graphics and just about everything you could want from an online game. You pay most against other people and these are the greatest fun or some are played solely as one player game. They cater for a lot of different games, so you can play board games, arcade games, etc. but the puzzles section is also well stocked. Jigsaw puzzles again, Mahjong(well its a puzzle to me) and other similar games and all great. Better still is that you get 'flips' for playing these games which can then be entered into pri
ze drawings, so your online game playing could well bring you some cash or prizes...woohoo. Sadly, its only open to US residents(or Canadians) so its tough on us lot...well my girlfriend is in the US so I guess its tough on you lot...hehehe. <~>Flipside.co.uk<~> As the above, same company etc. but with (some)different games for some unknown reason. here you CAN win as a UK resident because this is the UK site(there are also others for other Euorpean countries), so you might prefer to play here if you find a game you do like. Another difference is sadly that much less work has gone into this site than has the main US site. There are less games, less flips for winning and the games themselves, even though the same in concept, suffer from being far poorer in execution than the same found on their US counterparts. Avatars? Sound effects? Not here, or at least the most basic...oh well. <~>Pogo.com<~> Another US site which offers some puzzle games and again offers tokens to enter into prize draws as well as instant cash prizes - which amount to hundreds and often thousands of dollars. Woohoo!! Again only open to US residents :o( You can play the games as a UK resident but the prizes are not open to you. The games are fun though and tere are some great puzles games here as well as casino games, word games and such like. Hey you can even play golf here. The puzzles games though are such things as Poppit which is a dumb balloon popping game which gets seriously addictive, Sweet Tooth, another seriously addictive game where you have to match groups of sweets amongst others amongst others. These games are broken by ad breaks whihc although annoying do not come too often to completely kill things off. Unlike the next site... <~>GamesVille.com<~> I hate this site but you might want to try it out. You basically get a lot of different games but they are a) not great to look at b) not gr
eat to play c) interupted CONSTANTLY by advertisement breaks. play three minutes, get 2 mintues of ads - nightmare. Try this if you are really starved of entertainment, but once more you can win cash by playing so you'll probaby get hooked. Tehre are thousands of people online at this site whenever I surf on through, so maybe its just me that finds it unbearable. Finally...for now... <~>Uproar.co.uk<~> AND <~>Uproar.com<~> These two sites, the US and the UK version have a couple of puzzle type games but the main focus is gameshows and casino type games. The puzzle games asically suck, but its somewhere else to try if you are really desperate for a puzzle. Personally, I would recommend you play Puzzle-A-Go-Go or Wordox on this site though if you are going to pop in. I hope there is something useful here to be going on with and I will probably be adding more to this should I stumble across anymore. Be careful though, some of these games may look harmless, even a little dull but you'll find the hours have just flown by once you start playing them. You have been warned...
