Advantages: Dont have to keep score
Disadvantages: American dictionary
Scrabble has got to be the best game ever invented. There is some History about the inventors to be found at the site Which is quite interesting, the concept of scrabble has been around for some time; basically for those not initiated I will briefly explain. Scrabble is a game where you make up words from a choice of seven letters these letters each have a certain amount of points, the object is to strategically place your words on the board taking in to account triple word, double word, double letter squares on board to gain the most points. The computer version of the game prevents you having to tax your brain with arithmetic in adding scores and lets you concentrate more on forming good words, fine if you are a sycophant. The problem is some of the words in the computer version are words, which I am sure you would not find in Oxford English Dictionary, XI for example, which apparently is a Chinese currency or something like that! Look it up in the definition part of CD-ROM. Also Hint mode is quite useful .if your brain is scrambled. The game however is excellent for playing online at MSNzone.com and I can play my favourite game with friends who live abroad and keep in touch at the same time! Well done HASBRO keep up the good work , I love this game
