A friend introduced me to this game - he's been playing it for over six months, so it's gotta be good. I've been playing it for about a month, and despite being fairly simplistic, it's VERY addictive. I can't wait to log in the next day to see how my record sales are going!! Basically, you create a band, practice, do gigs, write songs, record singles/albums, and live out your favourite popstar fantasy (nope, not the one about Kylie, the one about BEING one). The game is points based - you get 7 points every 3 hours, i.e. 56 a day, with each action in the game costing a certain number of points. For example, you can use some points to practice your musical abilities and hopefully get better. The better you get the more likely you are of selling tickets to your gigs and gaining some popularity. Once you start to get a bit popular you can begin writing and recording songs (you decide what they're called, but how good they are depends on your musical ability in the game). When you've written three songs you can release a single, and that's when the fun really starts. How far up the charts will it get? How much money might you get? As you sell more records you become more popular. As you become more popular the bigger venues you can play. And so on and so forth. And don't forget, it's absolutely free! Quality game... Try it today..
