      A great gift for a Doctor who fan

      Both my boyfriend and I are big Doctor Who fans. I'm probably more a fan of David Tennant than of the other Doctors, however I have always loved the show. These Top Trumps celebrate Doctor Who is true style by providing the cards in a funky Tardis box. This shows that this set of Top Trumps is more of a collector's item than any of the other Top Trumps sets. This edition looks back over the Classic Doctor Who series and features the eight first doctors.

      Each doctor has a different set of statistics, which is unusual to say that they are the same person; however I do have my particular favourite doctor so a little bit of bias does not bother me!
      William Hartnell is by far the best doctor, not only is he the first and original doctor, but he is the sharpest of the doctors, in intellect and with the sharpest tongue. Another favourite of mine is the classic Tom Baker who played the Doctor in the 70's. I love his curly mop of hair and his unusual dress sense. Paul McGann is the last of the doctors to feature in the pack, probably my least favourite doctor, but needs a mention as he is the 8th doctor and the last in the deck.

      ==Price and availability==

      This set is really outrageously priced in some stores, I think Amazon had it for £14.00 and looking now, someone is trying to sell it for £22.00. I paid £9.99 from a shop in the Trafford Centre around a year ago.

      ==Game Play==

      This is a game for two or more players and the object is to win all the cards.
      The cards need to be dealt equally to the players and the players hold their cards in a face up stack so that no one else but them can see their first card and no shuffling through the deck is allowed. The starting person chooses one attribute out of Adventures, Global Threat, Brains, Style, Strength, Fear Factor and then everyone reads out there corresponding score. Whoever has the highest or best value wins all the first cards and places them at the bottom of their own stack.
      The winner chooses the next attribute to read from their next card and the game continues in similar fashion until the winner is left holding all the cards!

      ==Quality==

      The cards feature all the classic characters that we know and love from Dr Who so you will not be disappointed with the quality of the people represented. The cards also tell you a little bit about the character, such as the dates their appearances lasted.
      The images are superb and captured really well. I like the dark blue and orange backdrop, the characters image is set off nicely with this use of colours.

      ==Overall==

      A good set to own if you are a fan of the doctor, however I would look around to get a good price on this set.
