I've always thought that the UEFA Champions League games were a bit of a swindle to be honest. EA are the makers of FIFA and every year they bring out a game which has nearly every CLub and Country you can think of in it and allows you to play in any tournament or even create one for yourself. So why inbetween then does it need to bring out a game specifically for one competition with just 50 clubs in it?
Graphics - This is where I can't fault it, the presentation, they have all the official logo's of the Champions League which no other game has and the amazing music too. The gameplya graphics are your standard FIFA ones so they look good but this is all about the presentation.
Gameplay - It's just FIFA really, that means half the world will rejoice while the other half will reach for their copy of Pro Evo. The gameplay is fine but just a bit too easy.
Sound - The Champions League music and also ITV's commentary team, great stuff.
Overall - I have to say I still think it's poor of EA to capitalize like this but I can't fault it for it's presentation , the way it looks and sounds is brilliant and almost worth playing for that alone.
EA Sports re-creates the real life world of top flight football to make this the first mission-based football game. There are over 50 challenging on and off-field missions to overcome throughout the domestic and European season. Can you handle the pressure of having to win 2-0, or to be told by your new boss that your main striker has to be sold? Choose one of any clubs out of a possible 239 -from the FA Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish Primera Liga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1. The game also introduces the EA SPORTS Talk Radio, the only place to hear the views of the people who pay your wages on the ultimate fans' forum.
