The Ultimate Fighting Championships have been around for a long long time now, although it's sprung to massive popularity over the past 3-4 years,it's actually been on the market for over a decade. This game for the PS1 was the first forage into the gaming market for UFC.
Graphics - I was quite impressed by the graphics in this game, the models looked as good as most 3D fighters do on the PS1 and the presentation is excelent 8/10
Gameplay - Tough one to call to be perfectly honest, it's difficult to control, I had a mate who has the game and he mastered all the takedowns and thought it had great Gameplay but I couldn't hack it, a bit too difficult 6/10
Sound - No commentary in this but the intros for each fighter sound good and the in-game effect sound cool too 8/10
Longevity - Apart from exhibitions there is a challenge mode where you battle your way to the UFC title, once you've done it more than once then it loses it's appeal 7/10
Overall - Very good effort, limited on the PS1, I liked the PS2 one better but a solid game which you can pick up for buttons nowadays. Thumbs Up 7/10
