Gift vouchers have their advantages, but sometimes have a bit of a cringe factor about them. Boots have noticed this, and come up with a rather nice solution.

What they have produced is an range of themed gift packs. Each of these packs contains a selection of the theme, attractively arranged, and a gift voucher just £5 LESS than the price of the pack. For instance, the "Glitter Babes" set costs £15, and includes a £10 gift voucher. The same applies for the "Fine Fragrance" set, which costs £25 and includes 3 items as well as a "£20 gift voucher.

What I like about these packs is that they don't look insubstantial, the way gift vouchers normally look. The other problem with including gift vouchers with a present is that it ends up looking disjoint from the rest of the package. Boots have dealt with this problem very effectively.
