Newest Review: ... the wickets started to fall.A small rest period by the bowlers allowed Lara to get his 50,but other than that the bowlers did well to limit windies for a very shakey 169-8 in their 50 overs.It does appear that recent England bowling performances have gone up a gear and we are getting some respect from the opposition at last. Within 30 minutes of Stewart and Trescothick at the crease,they never even looked like being out and their superb performances led England to a sweet victory with 10 wickets and overs to spare. A superb opening stand between Stewart and Trescothick yesterday of 171 lead to a real thrashing of the windies. When England won the toss and elected to bowl it wasn't long before the wickets started to fall.A small rest period by the bowlers allowed Lara to get his 50,but other than that the bowlers did well to limit windies for a very shakey 169-8 in their 50 overs.It does appear that recent England bowling performances have gone up a gear and we are getting some respect from the opposition at last.
