Advantages: I LOVE BEER!

Disadvantages: So many of them!

I must say, I have been looking for this catagory for a while now. A place to write about the worlds greatest drinks. I am part of many beer clubs in my area. The beers are from local breweries, but most are from around the world.

My favorite beers are from Belgium. Belgium beers are yeast activated, and this seems to be the dominant energizers. The glass you pour these beers in should be a wide chalice type glass. This will make the yeast distribute itself throughout the brew!

If it is a Christmas beer you desire(better luck next year), I would highly suggest Corsendonk Christmas Ale. Christmas and winter beers seem to double up on their ingredients.

Corsendonk pours to a dark chestnut brown color. The foam head assumes a beige color with a whipped cream consistancy. The aroma is that of a bakery, probably due to the yeast. The taste is of chocolate malt at first. Then fruity tangy flavors come to life. There is a slight bitterness at the end(possibly due to hops), but it subsides quickly!

Like most Belgian beers the flavors overwhelm the palate, but the taste is out of this world! Add to this an 8.5% Alc. By Volume, and the warm feeling comforts those cold nights!
