Recently I have been looking for some cheap pressies for my 2 sons as stocking fillers. like every other person I overspend at Christmas and try hard to get all what they ask for. But this year I decided to be cheap and cheerful instead of poor and over loaded with gifts galore for all.

It is not that I am a Scrooge, unlike my hubbie at this time of year, but with finances being tighter this year I still wanted to give everybody a good pressie with out taking out more loans or murdering my credit card.

Looking for bargains I spotted these shops that were cheap Pound shops and decided to take the bull by the horns and venture inside. They say that almost everything is under a £1 or under and they are right! there shops look tatty sometimes but bargains can be got by all without giving the wallet or purses an aftershock.

Stationary sets, Christmas decorations, ornaments, Clothing, scents and bubblebaths, CD's and other household gifts line the shelves including toys that would make a brilliant gift for someone. My sons love to go in and spend their pocket money and believe me they do get value for money!!

Give them a try and save your most finances for other more important things. Do not be mistaken by their looks the quality is fantastic and at prices anyone can afford you could actually have a happier Christmas this year knowing that there is not too much to pay off after the new year bills come in.
