It's Christmas Eve today so it is too late to get anything special. You can however start getting ready for next year.

Once the January Sales start in the shops, you can by decorations, cards and other xmas goodies for a fraction of the price. As long as you remember you have got them and where they are, it will probably mean a saving of at least 1/3 in December prices.

Most major chain stores will hold a sale where you can buy larger items so if you can keep them in a safe place and they are non-perishable, they will last.

At PC World last year, I seem to remember them holding a large computer sale in January. Also, you can buy card-creating software where you can produce cards for any occasion. If you do need a large amount of Christmas cards, this sort of software will also save you a few pennies in the long run.
