But he shaved his mullett off this year, so out of respect to that, I had promised to stay away from the mic. I LIED!!! Ha! I pulled myself up on to the stage blew him a kiss, grabbed the mic, and started crooning. Blissfully unaware my trousers had slipped a little, showing off my fetching tie-at-the side thongs...Enough of that, too rude. I'm going to sound a bore here on the whole Christmas party thing but I recently read an interesting article on the 'goings on' at Christmas parties. My belief is that Christmas should be enjoyed by everyone (however commercialised it has become) and it is a good time to sit back and reflect on the past year, family and friends and those loved ones you claim to love so dearly. For those single people out there this doesn't really apply to you but is worth thinking about. Last week we had a party. Nothing unusual about that, apart from the fact that despite the fact that I was organizing the event, I knew less than 1% of the guests beforehand. Still, the party went well, all the guests seemed happy enough, so I guess we can class it as a success.
