Advantages: Excellent value for money if you shop around

Disadvantages: Kids grow too fast

I just love buying clothes for littles ones. My son is now 11 months old and I have so much fun buying him clothes. I always make sure he has a varied wardrobes ranging from comfy, warm to smart and trendy.

I have found in his first year that as they grow so quickly it is not essential to spend a fortune and over the last 11 months I have found there are many high street shops that sell fantastic affordable kids/baby clothes.

So heres my top baby clothes shops:

Gap - This is my alltime fav, but they are very pricey. I tend only to buy the very odd top from here or an extra special outfit for an occasion. They was really well, I do find the sizes come up small in here so I tend to buy a size bigger.

Next - They do a lovely very trendy range of baby clothes, again they are expensive so Next clothes tend to be for presents of special occasions. Although I did get some fantastic bargains in the sale at Next.

Tescos - Tesco clothes are fantastic for everyday wear, they sell everything from Vest and Socks to Jeans, Jumpers and Coats. There prices are excellent, today I brought my son a tracksuit for £6 which also included socks. They arnt so good in the tumble dryer they do tend to shrink but who can moan at that price.

Asda - George at asda do a lovely range of kids/baby clothes, very modern and up to date, I do find the size come up small but they are fantastic value for money.

Primark - Excellent for Vests etc.. I think I last paid £1 for a pack of 5 vests at my local primark, they wash well and if they get stained I dont mind binning them for that price.

Summary: Dress trendy for a low cost
