I would never normally buy clothes as a present for a man. All the men I know are very particular about their clothes. For example, my husband takes longer than I do to find a pair of shoes that fit! However, this year I have bought my husband a leather jacket for Christmas. We were walking around York and found a new shop had opened, with 40% off all leather jackets. He found one he immediately liked, and so we bought it. Forget the High Street Retailers where you pay the earth. Check out Petroleum at local Designer Outlet Shopping Villages. Everything is reduced by seventy percent meaning that there are some real bargains to be had. Everything from Jeans, at around £12, Tops, at around £9 and winter jackets, around £40, this store is a real winner. It also boasts a good selection of footwear ranging from branded boots and shoes to other unknown names which still appear to be good quality. If you are looking for something different in the clothing department for christmas but can't afford high street prices - why not try Tesco. We've bought quite a few item in the last year from the Tesco range for both Men and Women - mostly they are similar to what other high street shops are selling but at half the price. The Mens range needs improving a little, but if you're looking for a christmas day outfit for your other half - give it a try. It is quite good for work shirts - i think at the moment they have them on offer for £10 for a double pack.
