Was Worcestershires punishment for playing Kabir Ali in the recent Natwest third round match really fair? For those of you who don’t know they fielded Kabir Ali in their eleven to face Gloucestershire, and proceeded to win the enthralling encounter. It was later found that Kabir had already represented the Board XI in an earlier round, and so was considered inelligable for the match against Gloucester. The result of the Gloucester’s appeal against the match result, was the order that the match should be re-played.
