This for me is excellent. I spend a lot of time away from home and quite often abroad, using first direct means i can do banking from anywhere. The question of security did worry me but so far i have had no problems. With a £500 overdraft, Switch card, and competitive intrest rates, This was on of my better desicions. ... more |

I started using first direct about 3 months ago. I have both a current and savings account and a credit card. I have found that having everything at one bank it really useful, not only that but i have 24 hour access by internet and phone. This for me is excellent. I find the flexibility that internet banking has brought to my current account is brilliant. I was always the fist to complain about queing in branches now I can handle my finances wherever I am. The current account set up at the moment is very helpful. I particularly like the free §100 overdraft. This is very helpful if like me your finances go a little astray at the end of each month. One thing I would like to see though is a postage service for cheques. This draws me back into a branch and that makes me mad. ... Read the complete review
