Elastica

Elastica did not so much walk onto Main Stage as trudge. Their first song, some cover, sounded appalling. The crowd’s response was muted. The band marched offstage. It would have been really cool if they had retained their street cred. and stayed off, but Elastica bowed to the whim of the stage manager and returned. The rest of the set was painful. The band have lost all their previous glamour, and Justine looked like she was either drunk or turning into Shaun Ryder (or both?).
