It's just a shame he always has to argue with Martin O'Neill. When Hansen talks about defending and defensive mistakes, I would listen carefully to what he says. Like the the band staffed by his three children (what do you mean he's not their dad?), Alan Hansen has a habit of getting on my nerves. This has come to a bit of a head now that he's on my screen every night, alongside Martin O'Neill, for the BBC. Why is he getting worse? Well, it's all to do with his point-scoring attitude over the Irishman. Hansen blathers away, not letting him get a word in edgeways, and rubbishing all of his opinions. Alan also draws attention to O'Neill's earlier comments when they have been proved wrong. It's as if he's trying to say "Look at me! I am the Uber-Pundit! Mwuh-huh-huh-ha!!" ...
