Take all your old empty kitchen dispenser rolls and loo rools. These can then be covered in either crepe paper or felt into Christmas characters.
Cut out a piece of black card in the shape of two feet and glue to base of tube.
Cover the tube in material of coice adding items such as a belt for santa or buttons fo a snowman etc.
Draw a face for the top and again add a beard for santa nose etc for snowman.
Make a santa hat or snowmans top hat as the top and then the tube can be filled with little sweeties.

Summary:
